SSD-Z 15.02.15 beta released - free tool to display SSD information and benchmark them

The Danish developer Anders Jakobsen has developed SSD-Z, a free tool that provides information about the SSD(s) in a system.  The tool is able to display information about the SSD controller of the drive and NAND chips inside.

Other features are verifying that TRIM is enabled, displaying S.M.A.R.T status information, listing of all partitions and it the application also has a benchmarking feature. The latter is work in progress, the software currently displays the benchmark feature is not reliable yet.

To provide details on the internals of the SSD, the software uses a database. That means the software can only properly identify drives that have been added to the database. The 329Kb  tool consists of a single .exe. file and requires no installation. Download it here.
