TDMore version 1.0.0.7 adds improved support for the H.265 (HVEC) codec. The company promises faster encoding, smaller file size and better video quality. The H.265 codec is the successor of H.264, a codec frequently used for online video. H.265 promises to require half the file size for the same quality video and is dubbed to be the codec for Blu-ray 4K discs. The new improved H.265 codec is available for TDMore DVD Converter and TDMore Blu-ray Converter.
Other changes in 1.0.0.7 are the regular changes and improvements, new profiles for the iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, Samsung Galaxy Tab S Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy Note4 and Sony Xperia Z3. Version 1.0.0.7 also adds hardware acceleration support for the newest Intel HD Graphics.
