TDMore today announced the availability of "Free DVD Copy" which allows backing up DVDs at no cost. The software allows a Full Disc copy and Main Movie copy. The Full Disc copy options allows you to copy an entire DVD without any loss of quality, the Main Movie copy option only copies the main movie to an ISO file, movie folder or a DVD recordable.
The company claims to beat other free DVD software such as DVDFab HD Decrypter and DVD Cloner with several minutes in copy speed. In a comparison on their website they state copying a 4.2 GB DVD 5 disc to a blank DVD recordable on Windows 8.1 running on a system with a Core i7 and 4 GB RAM takes about 17 minutes. On the same system DVDFab HD Decrypter would take about 21 minutes and DVD Cloner 27 minutes.
The software is compatible with Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, both 32 and 64 bit.
