The Office 16 team is planning a live bug-fixing event on July 15th

The Office 16 team is going to attempt what has really never been done before - a live Customer Bug Bash.

Mark your calendars, because on July 15th there's going to be a big live event, open (only) to all people running the Office 16 Preview bits. During the event you'll be able to report bugs, stress test the new real-time co-authoring and win swag. "We're getting to the end game and want to ensure that we've got good coverage on all aspects of the product", according to the Office team.

The main focus of the event is bugfixing, you'll be able to join a Yammer group and submit bugs for all Office 16 desktop apps, those bugs will be triaged by Microsoft staff in real-time. The Office localization team will also accept feedback, especially for East Asian languages.

There will also be a stress-test for the new real-time co-authoring, participants will attempt to bring down the co-authoring functionality by getting as many sessions going at a single time until everything breaks.
