After almost a year, Alcohol-Software has updated Alcohol 120%. The update adds support for Windows 8.1. The software can be used to create images of CDs and DVDs which can then be mounted as virtual drives. Alcohol is available in a 52% and 120%.
The main difference between the two is that the latter not only reads discs but can also write to CD ,DVD and Blu-ray recordables.
Current customers need to login to download the update, others can download a trial.
