Our German friends from Elite Bytes have released a new version of their SSD disk caching solution VeloSSD. Version 2.1.0.6 improves several parts of the software. You can use VeloSSD to speed up your PC by using a SSD as a cache. The software will monitor your system for frequently used files and makes sure they are stored on the fast SSD.
Files that are accessed less frequently are stored on a slower storage medium, like a HDD. Especially when you combine the software with a small SSD it’s a relative cheap way to considerably boost the performance of your computer. You will get faster boot and awake times and cached applications will start up faster.
