Consumer electronics company Warpia recently launched its new StreamHD device able to stream content from a PC to a TV.

The company has listened to previous consumer complaints and included 1080p HD support (1920x1280 resolution) rather than just 720p, which gives it an immediate advantage over other similar products. A USB dongle must be used with a notebook or PC, while an included HDMI cable must be connected to the HDTV. Users with optical inputs can also utilize 5.1-channel surround sound.

StreamHD has the ability to stream movies and music (within 30 ft.) directly to the TV, with Netflix, Hulu, Facebook, Joost, and other services.

Warpia has the right idea realizing consumers want something that should be relatively simple to install and use.

"Our improved technology gives customers the all-access viewing they've come to expect from Warpia, along with stunning HD quality," said Marc Levaggi, Warpia VP of Marketing. "StreamHD makes wireless home entertainment seem effortless."

The Warpia StreamHD is available now for $169.99, and can be purchased on Amazon or from Warpia.

As the demand for streaming content continues to increase, consumers want wireless products that can be used anywhere in the living room. I have an extremely cluttered TV cabinet that already has two game consoles, a set-top box, cable box, and a pile of movies alongside a jumbled mess of cables creating a jumbled mess all over the place.

The use of something like the Warpia StreamHD would be yet another device in the living room, but I appreciate Warpia's effort to keep things simple.
