WhatsApp has added the VOIP call feature to its Windows Phone app. The call feature was already available on iOS and Android but now also Windows Phone users can make phone calls with the chat application.
It's no surprise that the Windows Phone version also has the feature. Last month the feature already appeared in a test version of WhatsApp for Windows Phone. WhatsApp's now released an update that makes the feature available to all users.
Calls and chats are separated by tabs after the update, just like on WhatsApp for iOS and Android. In chats users can also call another WhatsApp user by clicking the call icon. The VOIP feature is now available on all major mobile platforms. Android users were the first to receive the feature, later this year the feature was also enabled for iOS users.
