I don't have any "iGear".
Will an 8-track tape fit in the slot?

Same here. If I leave my Alarm clock next to my bed, I usually wake up late with the Alarm clock not beside my bed.

I usually place my alarm clock somewhere where I cannot reach it from bed. It may mean I whack something else off my side table, but at least I'm forced to get up to turn it off. Unfortunately, this trick doesn't always work, as I've occasionally slept through the alarm , especially if I go to bed too late such as a few late evenings I was working on the Boombox review.

I would like to win this so as to help me forget the nightmares from my childhood. You see we were so poor that as the oldest I was the alarm clock, and having no education I did not learn about daylight savings time. As a result I failed to wake-up my daddy/uncle and he lost his job. We all had to move out of the trailer and live in the van, all very sad.
So having this wonderful thing would make my life worth living again.

I already have a stereo/hi-fi system to wake me up, so this post doesn't count as participation in the lottery.

I already have a (crappy) clock radio, so this post doesn't count either. I also have a wake-up call when needed (isn't that what mobiles are for? LOL).

Anyway. Most days you're lucky if you can wake me up before noon

So far I reckon even if Jethro doesn't win, he should get something for the hilarious post

That's assuming one remembers to keep it charged. I did the mistake of using my phone as an Alarm until I forgot to plug it iin one evening.

My Nokia 6300 and I'm sure many others are totally unreliable as alarm clocks. With my phone, if the battery goes flat, not only does the alarm not ring, it disables the alarm! So if it's not set again it will not go off the following morning even if charged up.

Believe it or not, I don't even have a clock for my bedroom (partly because I work at home and don't have any specific time to be up), so this would be nice. Mainly I love the idea that I could snap my iPod into it and have my latest tunes to drift off to sleep with. It isn't always comfortable trying to get to sleep with the buds on.

"LET US KNOW WHY WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECEIVE THIS BRAND NEW CLOCK RADIO AND WIN!"

I don't have a clock radio, I could use one. I'd LIKE to get up in time to get something productive done in my day, I don't have an iAnything and WOULD like an excuse to go out and buy a nice iPod video or one of the various models so I can stumble about and imitate the uber-stupid kids.

So, it looks like you may be compelled to send it to me. I mean since I am not going to use an iHammer on it, since I have no iHammer. It won't get wasted with me, I'd surely use it as intended!

Best holiday wishes to everyone!

Like, literally between you? Kinky...

I just want this to give to my poor, deprived niece who has only an iPod and nothing to dock to. Or as an excuse to finally buy myself an iPod. Either way.

This would go well with my daughter's new ipod touch 32 gb that we have bought for her. She has been ill recently with some unexplained stomach issue. She will be surprised with the ipod touch and REALLY surprised with a radio with docking. Merry CHristmas to everyone and Happy Birthday Jesus!

Sorry guy. But he won with this quote??? Was it the sense he made you feel he was being gracious and thinking of someone else? Or perhaps you got tired of reading all the quotes? Evidently creativity and humor was NOT part of this contest. Sorry Jethro. What a shame! I will try to be more boring with future quotes. Something tells me his friend is STILL hard up for a clock radio... Now I'm going to lay my head back down on my rock pillow.

I'm sure they took all the eligible people and pulled the email address randomly.

It's non of your business but yes, my friend is still needing a clock radio as he is unemployed at the moment & can't afford one. Now he has one, when I get it that is.

Hey Peter, nothing personal guy. There was just some funnier stuff submitted and it seemed the "judges" were looking for something other than what the majority of folks out there were putting out. Hope your buddy finds a job and can put that clock to good use finally. Stay cool in Canada. Peace.

Received and much appreciated, thank you. With the addition of a small plug adapter, which I just happen to have, it works fine over here as the power adapter is good for 100 - 240v supply.

Once again, many thanks indeed.
