Positives and Negatives:

During testing of this software, a few positive and negative points came up:

Positives:

• Very easy to use and well laid out
• Good quality files/discs created
• Good technical support
• In addition to DVD creation, output to mobile devices and other file types are available

Negatives:

• No output to .ISO image option

Conclusion:

DVDFab Platinum 3 is pleasant to use and a lot more user-friendly than the last version. The fact that it’s constantly updated to handle the latest protections, and can output to a number of different formats without the need for other software, makes it a worthwhile purchase.

As this is a completely new version of the software, bugs and quirks are still being discovered, but Fengtao Software is incredibly quick to fix anything that comes up. In the last three weeks, seven versions have been released; four of them whilst putting this article together, all adding new features, or fixing problems.

Although there are other software around that can perform similar functions, DVDFab Platinum 3 certainly deserves its place among them because it does it all in a single application. With an excellent start in this version, let’s see if the developers can keep the bug fixes and feature improvements coming.

To sum it all up, this is what we would say: “A big improvement over previous versions, it was very easy to get to grips with. Projects were completed quickly and easily. DVDFab Platinum 3 is a great piece of software, which gets better with each update”.
