Nice review, but why are some images saved in 8-BIT color depth? They look awful.

The test results are not presented in a clear manner. I will use the Verbatim DVD as my example. The write speed is given as 22x and the write time is given as 4:27. This indicates that the actual write performance is about 12x. The data should be labeled more explicitly and given in comparable units. The way the data is presented here, it is impossible to compare the selected write speed with the actual performance without doing a lot of math. For example, what is now labeled "Write Speed" should be labeled "Write Speed (Selected)" What is labeled as "Write Time" should be labeled "Write Speed (Actual)" and should be presented in the same units as "Write Speed (Selected)".
