On the Lite-On website and on a Dutch hardware website, the Lite-On S900 SSD series has been revealed. The new line-up of SSDs will be available in capacities of 64, 128 and 256 GB with 19nm Toshiba Flash NAND combined with a Marvell 88SS9188 controller.
All three versions can read data at 530 MB/s and writes are specified at 150, 290 and 420 MB/s for the 64, 128 and 256 GB drives respectively. Random reads are specified between 90,000 and 99,000IOPS, while random writes are 37,000 IOPS for the 64GB model, 73,000 for the 128GB model and 89,000 for the 256GB model.
The 64GB drive has 128MB cache onboard, the 128GB version has 256MB cache and the 256GB drive has 512MB cache. The 64 and 128GB SSDs are available as mSATA module while the 256GB drive is only available as 2.5" drive.
The 64GB drive is listed on a webshop for €41,49 ($36), the 128GB is sold at €64,05 ($56) and the 256GB at €108.14 ($94).
