Creating a Cinematic Slideshow and Cinematic Video
The steps for created both the slideshow and Video are identical. For the purpose of this review we created our Cinematic Slideshow layout by clicking the Photo Icon of the main program GUI and selecting “Cinematic Slideshow”

Selections of the images to be added are found in the Explorer Pane; we added our images by selecting them and then using the Drag & Drop method into the Image Layout Pane. Images may be rearranged by selecting the image and dragging it to the desired position within the layout.

Once we had our images in the order we wanted, we clicked on the “Step 2 Button” in the EasySteps Pane.
In this step we are able to add “Background Audio” to our slideshow by selecting the audio files from the Explorer Pane and once again using the Drag & Drop Method into the Audio Layout Pane.

After we were satisfied with our Audio Background we then selected Step 3 in the EasySteps Pane where we made our selection of our Style to be applied to our Slideshow. We selected the style “Breathe” which is a leisurely style and moderately-paced transitions that let you enjoy your images or video moments in total relaxation. This style works best with slow vocal music.

Next we selected our Writer and then clicked on Button 4 of the EasySteps Pane. Here we find the options for our Output and have the opportunity to preview our project (a very nice feature indeed).

We chose VCD NTSC as our output. NTSC is a television format found in North America and Japan. PAL is found in Europe, Hong Kong, the Middle East, and other areas. Once we finished configuring the Output Type and Output File options, we click on OK and the video began to process. This may take a considerable amount of time depending on the speed of your processor. Once the processing has completed you will be prompted for a blank disc for the Writer you selected. Then we selected our write speed and clicked Start.

Our Cinematic Slideshow played flawlessly on our test system using the included ArcSoft Video Player, Nero Showtime, and on our “standalone DVD Players”.
