Creating a DVD-Video Disc
The DVD-Video format is used in regular DVD movies you might buy off the shelf. A DVD-Video disc contains special files that store the video and audio data. These files (called VOB files) usually contain video in the MPEG-2 format and audio in the AC3 format. DVD-Videos can be played on standalone DVD players as well as computers with DVD-ROM drives (provided that you have DVD playback software).
We created a new DVD-Video layout by clicking the Video Icon of the Programs main window and selected the DVD Video_TS option.

For this part of the review we decided to use the nearly 8 GB size folders we created prior to reviewing the DVD FIT feature. We will use a DL disc 8.5GB for the project and we will use the Plextor 760A for the Write. Once our selections were made we clicked on Button 2 of the EasySteps Pane where we are provided the choices of Speed, Copies, and Write Options. Having made our selection to burn at max (8X) and 1 copy, we clicked on the Start Button.

The recording began and once finished we received the completion notification window.

This disc played perfectly on both the test system and our standalone players.
