Crucial Ballistix Tactical DDR4 RAM review

Closing thoughts

As with previous DDR4 RAM from Crucial, they all come in simple packaging that doesn’t take up too much space, but at same time it protects the RAM during shipping. The appearance is another strong factor for the Ballistix Tactical RAM, and the gunmetal grey with the slim form factor will match most of the systems out there, and will make it look very clean.

There is the XMP profile that will allow you with just one click to set the RAM at the right speed, so installation and setup is trouble free. The Crucial Ballistix Tactical RAM comes with a lifetime warranty, adding an extra peace of mind.

The price of this kit, 3000MHz 32GB (4x8GB), on the Crucial store is close to 200 Euros, but expect prices to vary depending on where you live and when you read this review.

The overall performance of the Crucial Ballistix Tactical was excellent and trouble free. You can always tighten the timings a little to get some extra performance, but even with the XMP settings they work just great.

The Crucial Ballistix Tactical DDR4 RAM takes the very good award.
