When it comes to memory I very rarely had a
memory kit that was wasn't manufactured by Kingston, and from my own personal
experience it was the best all around choice that I could make without having
to compromise on any of my main requirements, price, capacity. and good build quality.
Most of the time I personally ended with the value RAM, however this time I
will be taking a closer look at the HyperX Fury DDR4 RAM, and as you might
expect this is not the price bracket that I usually buy, but  it's the entry
point for high performance DDR4 RAM.

Let's take a closer look at the HyperX Fury
DDR4 RAM. You can find it in kits of 2 and also four sticks, with capacities
starting from 4GB per stick and up to 8GB, however there is also a variety of
speeds, ranging from 2133MHz, 2400MHz, and up to 2666MHz. Below is a more
detailed view, however at the moment it's only available in black, so let's
hope that soon we will also have more options when it comes to colour.

I don't want be spending too much time in this
review dicussing prices, I will say however that the 2133MHz 4GB module on
amazon.co.uk starts at £49.43, on amazon.de prices start at 60€. The price is
also the same here in Greece, and if you live in the U.S.A. expect to pay close
to 55 US dollars, as always the prices are here as a reference.

Company info.

HyperX is name that our readers remember
back when I reviewed the Kingston HyperX 3K SSD. As expected things have moved
forward and now HyperX is synonymous with high quality products for gamers, enthusiasts,
and people that don't have the word 'compromise' in their dictionary. You can
take a look at Kingston's website to find out more about HyperX simply by
clicking here.

Now let’s start this review by taking a
close look at the packaging of the HyperX Fury 2666MHz DDR4 RAM.

Let’s start by taking a closer look at the
package and what it comes shipped with.

Packaging

A very simple, yet very functional, way to
store and most importantly to transfer your RAM, with all the information that
you need to know about the kit that you just purchased available at the same
time. Also the memory has the XMP2 profile so setting up your RAM at 2666MHz
should be a very easy task.

Open the box and inside you will find a
small warranty and installation guide, a very small HyperX sticker, and most
importantly the four memory modules. As we can see from the above picture
everything is very well packed and also very well protected. An excellent job
when it comes to packaging.

Now let's take a look at HyperX Fury 2666MHz
DDR4 RAM.

The front side of the HyperX Fury DDR4,
very clean, simple look, and also the memory shouldn't have any issues with
most modern CPU coolers.

On the back of the HyperX Fury RAM there is
only one sticker with some extra information, a very clean look for the HyperX
Fury.

Here we can see the timings, the operation voltage,
and some extra information about the RAM.

Let’s head to the next page where we
take a look at our testing methods and the review PC.
