There are some of us that simply want to
transfer our files from place A to place B, and most of the time the data that
we transfer isn’t of any value, so we don’t have to worry about losing or have it
the fall into the wrong hands. There are also people that need to have their
files secured and make it as hard as possible to be viewed by any unauthorised
person. Lexar has the M10 Secure JumpDrive to cover those that want more than
just copying files.

of the Lexar M10 JumpDrive.

Specifications

Let's take a look at the specifications of
the Lexar M10 Secure JumpDrive as they appear on the Lexar website.

It's time to find out more on what’s inside
the Lexar M10, I will be using a tool called Flash Drive Information which you
can get from here.

 

We can see that the Lexar M10 is using the Innostor
IS903 controller and as expected the memory is manufactured by Micron.

Lexar's M10 Secure JumpDrive is available
in four capacities, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. The M10 promises read speeds
up to 100MB/Sec and write speeds from 20MB/Sec for the 16GB drive up to
55MB/Sec for the 64GB and 128GB. The drive is compatible with the majority of
the latest OSs, including Linux, Mac, and Windows.
