Review: Toshiba Exceria Pro 32GB SDHC UHS-II Memory |
Welcome to Myce’s brief review of the super fast Toshiba
Exceria Pro 32GB SDHC UHS-II Memory Card.
The Exceria Pro memory card implements the new ‘UHS-II’
Ultra High Speed bus interface for SDHC memory cards.
UHS-II introduces a second row of pins on the SD and micro
SD memory cards (the first row of pins is retained to provide interoperability
and backwards compatibility with existing non-UHS II devices).
For interest here is a picture of the pins on the Exceria
Pro we tested (left) and a non UHS-II card (right) –
For clarification here is a table showing the types of SD
cards (and their maximum speeds) that are now available –
You can see that the theoretical maximum speed for an SDHC
UHS-II card is now 312MB/s.
