NTFS tests
This time we will do the same tests with the USB stick formatted with the NTFS file system. The major advantage of the NTFS file system is that it will allow you to have files that are larger than 4GB.
So, let’s start again with HD Tune Pro.

As it was expected, not much changed with the NTFS on a USB2 connection.

Again, not much changed with the USB3 connection either. The Speed is the same as it was with the FAT32 file system.
Next stop is ATTO. Again we don’t expect to see any difference in the speeds, so let’s start.

Yet again the numbers are the same on USB2 and USB3, showing that a different file system isn’t going to change the performance much.
We will be finishing our tests with CrystaDiskMark x64.

Again the test results indicate that the file system won’t make any difference to the speed of the USB Stick.
Time to move to the real world tests and the conclusion.
