An image sensor of a digital camera catches the image. The quality of a camera is partially determined by the size of the image sensor, which is given in inches. With ‘size’ we mean the diagonal of the sensor. (1 inch = 1.54 cm). The larger the sensor, the better the quality of your pictures.
