Rewards System

The bank awards you 4% cash back on all purchases from the gas stations, 3% for dining in restaurants, and 2% for grocery purchases. The limit for your rewards is usually the first $8,000 of all combined purchases throughout the year.

The cap is set for each card member’s anniversary. So, for example, if you were to apply for this credit card on June, 6, 2020, the anniversary of your card would be June 6, 2021. 

Currently, the card offers a bonus amount of $100 when you make purchases worth $1,000 or more during the first 3 billing cycles after getting the card.

Redeeming the Cards

You can redeem the rewards you earn from the PNC Visa card for monetary credit which can be deposited on the credit card or your PNC account. You will always have at least $25 dollars in your PNC cash rewards account. As long as your card is always in good standing, your rewards will not expire. 

Fees and Charges

The fees and charges that this credit card includes is an offer of 0% annual APR on all balance transfers in your first year of opening the account. However, you must do this in the first 90 days after getting your card. 

There is no annual fee. The Purchase and Balance Transfer APRs are 12.99% to 22.99%, and are based on creditworthiness. These APRs vary based on the prime rate. 

The Cash advance APR is charged at 22.99%, and the Penalty APR is charged at 28.99%. Minimum interest charges are only $1.50.

Transaction Fees

For Balance transfers, the fee charge is either 3% of the amount, or $5 - whichever one is greater - for the first 90 days after opening the account. Cash advance fees are charged at either $10 or 5%, whichever one is greater. Also, each foreign transaction is charged at 3%.

Penalty Fees

Late fee penalties can be charged up to $38, and returned payments can also be charged up to $38.
