"Computer software prices are high compared with the US and UK" an Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) statement said.
The ACCC recently updated a report released to the federal government in 1999 called 'Potential Consumer Bneefits of Repealing the Importation Provisions of the Copyright Act 1968'. |
"Devotees of popular PC games pay around 20 percent more than in the United Kingdom and 5 percent more than New Zealand," the report said.
Did they really had to investigate this? Like I don't know software prices are to high
However in Australia they do pay around 20 percent more for popular PC games (comparing to UK)
