The new burning application, made by the guys of BlindRead seems to be a straight attack to CloneCD and it's author.
This is what the site says:
what is it ? BlindWrite suite is a tool designed to reproduce a CD-ROM almost perfectly. To be or not to be (RAW mode compatible) ? There is a common rumor widespread that a RAW MODE compatible cd writer was necessary to write RAW DATA. THIS IS NOT TRUE ! RAW MODE IS NOT MANDATORY IN ANY CASE. ALMOST *ANY* CD-WRITERS CAN DO ! So my recent yamaha (or other) writer will be compatible with Blindwrite suite ? Yes, it is ! Is it hard to use ? This means that it can copy almost everything with every burner ! Too good to be true ? We will see, if you have an experience with this new piece of software, then feel free to post your reactions below !

Blindwrite has been released today! First time I fired it, it worked perfectly burning Unreal Tournament on a yamaha 6416. I highly recommend that you get this, esspecially if you have a burner that doesn't support TRUE dao. |
