CD Freaks presents: Samsung SH-S182D DVD-Writer Review

Today, we are pleased to present a review of the Samsung SH-S182D DVD writer, which Samsung has kindly provided us for review.  Samsung is one of the world's largest electronics manufacturers and began producing optical disc drives back in 1994.  It currently has a wide variety of CD and DVD optical drives available offering a variety of different features and capabilities for both desktop and laptop users.

This drive hit the market back around mid June, which led to Samsung becoming the first manufacturer to market an 18x DVD±R writer with 12x DVD-RAM write performance.  Besides these improved write speeds, this drive also features 8x DVD±R DL, 8x DVD+RW and 6x DVD-RW write performance.
