Cyberlink launches platform for PowerDVD users

Cyberlink officially launched their newest website MoovieLive.com last Friday. The company claims that the website is the place for movie enthusiasts and PowerDVD 8 users. MoovieLive.com is a web service for PowerDVD 8 users to rate movies, write reviews and find friends with the same movie taste. Together with PowerDVD the website plans to build a database of movie information contributed by their visitors.

Secondly the website serves as a platform to upload and share Movie Remix files created by PowerDVD users. Movie Remix can be used by movie enthusiasts to create new stories from existing DVD titles or to express their views in a different, unconventional way. “With today’s internet technologies MoovieLive extend that movie experience from purely watching to a series of online social activities and connecting PowerDVD users across the world with the same movie interests and exploring new movies from friends,” says Alice H. Chang, CEO of Cyberlink.

It's free to sign-up on MoovieLive.com and the site can be used to build on your movie collection, rate movies and find friends.
