Earth Station 5, Guardian Angel of file sharing or simple hoax?

savannah points us to an announcement on the UniteTheCows forum in which a new peer-to-peer software is discussed called Earth Station 5 (ES5).

If the information is true (so note that we cannot verify the information posted in the thread), ES5 will become the 'Guardian Angel' of file sharing. The following features will explain why:

  • Stealth & Cloaking Technology:
  • One-Click Proxy Server
  • SSL - Secure Sockets
  • UDP - User Datagram Protocol
  • ES5 Security Key
  • ES5 Does Not Display IP Addresses
  • Dynamic Ports
  • User Defined Port Settings
  • Multiple Points of Entry
  • Penetrating Firewalls
  • File-Reliability
  • The Green Light
  • No Waiting For More Sources
  • "InterGalactic Searches"
  • Less Bandwidth Usage
  • Standard Performance Enhancements
  • Free Stuff, No Spyware, No Adware

To me personally it simply sounds too good to be true but, on the other hand, if it were indeed true then ES5 will be a great peer-to-peer software. I guess we'll have to wait till February 14th to verify the posted information...
