Inexpensive Nextar PMP features 7 TFT LCD and 40gig HDD

This item, if it proves to be of good quality, seems to be quite a
bargain if we compare it to some similar devices, such as the Creative Zen and
even the Archos models. With the Nextar MC3007, you have the ability to
record and watch up to 160 hours of
video directly from a TV, DVD, cable or satellite receiver (Built in DVR for non
copyrighted materials) Store and watch full-length movies on a 40 gig hard drive
with the units 7" 16:9 wide-screen TFT or output them to a TV screen. With
the 720x480 resolution, the images should be very clear. This thing is less than
400 dollars around the net. Seems a bit heavy though at a bit over 3 pounds, but
maybe this is par for the course. In addition, no information on battery life
was readily available.
