LG introduces 8x super multi DVD±R/RW/RAM writer

I haven't seen any official press release from LG about its new 8x DVD writer, the GSA-4081B, but apparently this model has now showed up in Japan. Besides the 8x DVD+R write speed and the 4x DVD+RW write speed the specification looks quite similar to specification of LG's 4x model, the GSA-4040B.
