Lite-On EZ-DUB DVD writer article at the Register

D4rk0n3 used our news submit to tell us that the Register have taken a very quick look at the new
external drive from Lite-On, called "EZ-DUB". The Lite-On EZ-DUB
SHW-1635SU supports 16x DVD
±R,
8x/6x DVD+RW/DVD-RW
and 8x/4x DVD+R DL/DVD-R
DL writing technology, allowing Double/Dual Layer discs of 8.5Gb to be
written.

What makes the EZ-DUB different is the two buttons on
top of the drive. The square one is labelled File and the round one Dub.
It would've been clearer if the Dub button was called Copy, perhaps, but
in the era of political correctness, words such as 'copy' seem to have
been banished. The drive itself is rather ordinary looking for an external
DVD writer. It's black and silver in colour, with USB and power connectors
at the rear. A small power brick and fairly short USB 2.0 cable are
supplied with the drive.

You can visit the Register for their commentary on this drive. If you think it is
something of interest, then we suggest you take a look at Jan70's
review
he put up a couple weeks ago, for greater details on this nice
piece of hardware, we really liked it for it's handy
features!
