PoGo! products launches RipFlash DX, MP3/WMA Player

PoGo! Products today launched RipFlash DX, an encoding player to allow WMA recording. Direct WMA encoding allows users to record music directly to the RipFlash DX from virtually any audio source.

So you can e.g convert old LPs, CDs, cassette collection, voice memos, and live recordings into the WMA format without the use of a computer, and then play them back on the device.

Weighing only 1.9 ounces and smaller then a deck of cards, the RipFlash DX comes packed with 128mb of internal memory with an expansion slot to allow the addition of more memory in the form of MMC cards or Secure Digital cards. The RipFlash DX has a large backlit LCD that not only supports ID3 tags but also displays the battery life, volume, and EQ as well as track time and bit rate of the song that's currently playing.

"This is an incredible gadget for anyone looking for the freedom to do whatever they please with their music collection," said Bob Fullerton, Director of Product Marketing for PoGo! Products. "The ability to take your old LP record collection and turn them into a CD is an incredible advancement."

The RipFlash DX comes with earphones, an in-line remote control, neck strap, line-in cable, USB cable, installation CD, user manual, carrying pouch, 2 x AAA type batteries

It is compatible with Microsoft Windows 95/98/98SE/Me/2K/XP. RipFlash DX is available for $219.00 and will be available at all outlets that carry PoGo! Products players.
