Surround Records decides to go dual

Everybody is making decisions in favor of Blu-ray and combo announcements are becoming rare. Indie distributor Surround Records has decided to go dual-format. The distributor will offer its earlier issued HD DVD titles in Blu-ray...

With not dropping HD DVD Surround Records mainly shows respect and not faith. Many discussions on the Web have already showed that many aren't expecting anything anymore. Surround Records says that it will now expand its high-def disc support by including Blu-ray to their portfolio.

Surround Records is currently the only player in the market that brings out multichannel audio releases on the two next-gen formats... These releases are all without significant video material and shows no HD imaging.

The distributor's Uncommon Bach release will offer you classical audio on both Blu-ray and HD DVD. Hopefully Surround Records will start including images.
