According to the date of the last release VaporCD has been around for sometime but still might be unknown to most visitors. From the site:
"VaporCD can create a copy of a CD on your hard disk and mount it as if it were the real CD. VaporCD works with Windows NT 4.0. Support for Windows 2000 will be added in the next release. NOTE: VaporCD does not create images of the music tracks of a CD. Due to the lack of DirectSound support on NT 4.0, this would be of very limited use. After it is installed all you have to do is run the VaporCD Volume Manager and select the source CD-ROM drive and the destination file... and press create!" |
