H+H software has announced the release of Virtual CD v9.2, which adds a number of improvements and fixes, including the issue with writing DVD-RAM and DVD+RW media with some drive & media combinations, better compatibility with the latest software and better handling of special CD formats.
From our testing, it has also changed the default DVD-RAM size from 2,295,072 sectors to 2,236,704 sectors to match that of most DVD-RAM media on the market. The advantage here is that that one no longer needs to create a custom DVD-RAM size for it to fit on most physical DVD-RAM media currently available.
The new version also applies to the Terminal Server, Network Management Server and File server versions of Virtual CD and is available to all Virtual CD 9 customers. Those who have Virtual CD version 7 or 8 can update for a reduced price.
