A gaming pc that can fit in your hand

Though we don't often cover pc gaming equipment here at MyCE, this story caught my eye.  Gigabyte introduced a series of ultra small computers earlier this year, called the Brix series, that used a laptop cpu in a tiny case.  They have upped the ante a bit with their new Brix II, which will have the latest Haswell processor and will include the very best graphics processor that Intel currently offers, the Iris Pro.

Intel claims that the Iris Pro graphics processor is at the same level of performance as the Nvidia  GeForce GT 650M, and in hands on testing, the  Brix II played Dirt II at 1080p with no issues.  It may even be able to play Crysis 3, though probably no where near max levels.

The Brix II truly is tiny, at approximately 4.5 inches per side.  And it does come with many modern connections, like HDMI, Display Port, four USB ports,  ethernet, Wi-Fi and an external audio port.  The catch is that this is a bare bones kit, and you will have to supply your own 2.5 inch hard drive, memory and an operating system to complete the package.

Even if you don't use it as a gaming package, this small form may appeal as a very potent home theater pc.
