Adblock Plus developer Eyeo has released a new version of its advertisement blocker that should consume less memory and introduces a new user interface. When Adblock Plus 3.4 is installed, the browser extension should consume up to 50% less memory, according to Eyeo.

For users, the benefit should be that sites load faster and smoother. The new user interface should make it easier for users to navigate through the browser extension. Another important addition to Adblock Plus is a feature that makes it possible to report elements that should be blocked by sending a screenshot to the developers.

AdBlock Plus is the most popular browser extension on the internet. According to Eyeo, the extension is installed on more than 100 million systems.
