Apple cuts production Apple's iPhone 6S due to lower demand

Apple cuts down the production of its latest iPhone due to lower demand. The sales of the iPhone 6S by far don't meet that of its predecessor the iPhone 6. The success of the iPhone 6 is in the way of the 6S.

Analysts of the Deutsche Bank report that Apple is cutting down production of its 6S in the last three months of this year. Instead of the expected 80 million devices, the Cupertino technology giant will produce 75 million iPhones.

"We agree that iPhone 6S is a less successful product than iPhone 6, and expect Apple to keep mildly trimming iPhone production forecasts in the coming months", the Deutsche Bank writes to its customers, CNBC reports.

According to the bank the iPhone 7 will meet better demand. The 7th big iteration of the iPhone is expected to be released in the second half of next year. It's expected the new device will be another success with Apple fans, both iPhone 6 users on a 2 year plan as buyers of the latest phone on a 1 year plan.

The last three months Apple sold 48 million iPhones, slightly less than the number analysts expected.
