Arusoft delays weekly DeUHD release after consuming too much alcohol – not a joke

Posted 04 December 2017 16:02 CET by Jan Willem Aldershoff

Today we found a surprising statement on the DeUHD website where we expected to see a new release, like any other Monday. Instead we found a message stating the release was delayed because the developer got drunk.

On the DeUHD website, Arusoft writes, “Notice: Got drunk today, Update version tomorrow; The last day for Lifetime License, Seize the Moment.”

The statement caused some members of our DeUHD Forum to chuckle.

Together with the statement about being drunk, there is also the announcement that tomorrow/today is the last day to get a lifetime license for DeUHD.

It’s unknown whether there was a special occasion for the DeUHD developers to get drunk. We looked up the Holidays in Russia, but didn’t find any special event. So it seems it was an occasional weekend drunk.
