Arusoft has posted a message on our forum stating their Ultra HD Blu-ray ripping software DeUHD won't work when Windows Update KB4088875 is installed. The update is part of Microsoft's Patch Tuesday of March that was released two days ago.
“A kind user feedback that after update Microsoft security KB4088875 (Released on March 13, 2018), Deuhd could not run. After de-install KB4088875 and restart DeUHD, it works again. To avoid more users will the same problem, I post it here,” Arusoft writes on our forum. Microsoft explains here how to uninstall a Windows Update on Windows 7.
The update is for Windows 7 and fixes several bugs and provides cumulative Spectre and Meltdown protections for both 32 and 64-bit versions of Windows. It's unknown why DeUHD doesn't work with the update.
