CinEx HD Utility including commandline support released

The developers of DVD-Ranger informed us today about the release of their CinEx HD Utility. With this small application (8.9MB) it's possible to remove Cinavia from Blu-ray movies, besides by a Graphical User Interface (GUI) the software can also be controlled using the command line.

The developers plug the application as the perfect companion to AnyDVD and DVDFab, which both remove the AACS copy protection from Blu-ray discs. Once that protection is removed, the CinEx HD utility can remove the Cinavia Blu-ray copy protection which is embedded in the audio tracks of the Blu-ray movie.

As with DVD-Ranger also the CinEx HD Utility requires the download of database files, which according to the developers contain a so-called 'first pass', which means the developers have taken care of the first time consuming part of the Cinavia removal process.

To get you started there are four tutorials added to the CinEx HD website which all explain how to use the utility. The software is available right now at $39.99 and free for existing DVD-Ranger CinEx customers.

Those who first want to try can download a trial  from the CinEx HD website.
