Corsair updates Neutron GTX SSDs with 19 nm NAND

Corsair has updated its Neutron GTX series with 19 nm NAND flash memory. The latest Corsair Neutron GTX drives that use the 19 nm NAND can be recognized by a 'B' in the model name. For example the NxxxGBGTXB-BK, here the xxx before the GB should be replaced with the capacity of the drive and the B before the hyphen marks the 19 nm version. The 19 nm flash  memory is toggle NAND manufactured by Toshiba.

The first Neutron drives were announced in Juni last year and became available in September. The first batch of the drives contained 24 nm flash memory from Toshiba, controlled by a LAMD SSD controller. Like the 24 nm drives the 19 nm SSDs come with a five year warranty. Pricing of the drives should remain at the same level.  Check out our Corsair Neutron GTX 240 GB review .
