Custom Iron Man 2 USB flash drives released

Tyme Machines is back at it again, with an announcement of  a new customized 3D Iron Man character USB flash drive aimed at Iron Man fanatics.

The drives are available now with storage capacities ranging from 4GB up to 32GB -- the 4GB model is available for $34.99; 8GB costs $44.99; and the 16GB model can be found for $59.99.

Tyme's latest flash drive features Iron Man Tony Stark wearing the customary red and yellow armor.

"We at Tyme Machines pride ourselves on bringing beloved characters, such as Iron Man, to life in full 3D and making them available to fans across the world," said John McDaniel, Tyme Machines Chief Marketing Officer.  "We expect the Iron Man 2 movie release to generate many more fans of this great superhero and feel we have created a product that any fan can be proud to tote around and show off.”

Tyme is known for its growing portfolio of flash drives, with the company licensing and creating USB drives based on Iron Man, Star Wars, and Twilight.  Toshiba announced last year it would release Transformer USB flash drives before the end of 2009, and similar products are expected for release.

I definitely have no interest in having a novelty flash drive, but think it could make a great gift for collectors.  Are you interested in paying for a 3" Ironman flash drive, or are regular USB keys enough for you?
