DeUHD lifetime licenses no longer available, replaced by 6 month autorenewed licenses

After yesterday's boozing, Arusoft today removed the lifetime licenses from their website. Their Ultra HD Blu-ray ripping software is now only available in licenses that last 6 months and cost €60. The company also no longer sells their hardware bundles with a lifetime license included.

It was already known for a while that the Russian developers would end the sales of lifetime licenses soon. They announced the move about two weeks ago. Initially the company planned to end sales on the 30th of November. This was postponed due to technical reasons last week, yesterday the end of lifetime licenses was postponed again with a day, because the developers got drunk.

Today they really pulled the plug and Arusoft now only sells 6 month licenses for €60 ($71). After the 6 month period, the licenses are automatically renewed.

Also the hardware bundles saw their price adjusted. They also no longer come with a lifetime license, but with the 6 month license.

The ASUS BW16D1HT with the 6 months license now costs €137 ($162), the same bundle but with the ASUS BC12D2HT costs €125 ($148). Arusoft ships the drives to users around the world.
