Other parts of the settlement were the removal of illegal torrents and putting up a message on the group's website.

The 2Lion Team release group was fairly known on torrent sites such as The PirateBay, ExTraTorrent, Demonoid, 1337x and Ahashare to which the group uploaded thousands of illegal torrents. Many of the torrents were releases of blockbuster movies and TV series.

The group added unauthorized Dutch subtitles English content to make the "products suitable for the Dutch market", BREIN writes in their press release. The organisation also reports that some torrents were downloaded more than 470,000 times.

BREIN addressed several of uploaders with an ex-parte injunction which allows copyright holders to end infringement of their intellectual property. It can be considered a summary proceedings where the defendant is not heard.

The members of 2Lion Team now settled for  €67,500 ($76,000)  where the ability to pay for each group member was taken in account. The group also had to put up a message on its website in Dutch, a translation of the text can be found below:

Dear visitor of www.2lions-team.cc,

The 2lions team Web site is closed by order of BREIN Foundation. The 2lions team in recent years uploaded thousands of torrents, including (recent) movies, TV series, music and books. Making available copyrighted works in the form of torrents is an unauthorized reproduction and publication and constitutes an infringement of copyright and related rights of holders affiliated with BREIN.

The 2lions team consists of several uploaders of infringing content with whom BREIN settled. Part of this settlement involves the payment of a substantial sum of thousands of euros per uploader and the removal of all torrent files from torrent sites on which the 2lions team was active.
