DVD-Ranger released – improved DTS detection, 10 new databases

Yesterday the developers of DVD-Ranger released a new version of their software and also new database files and today they’ve released another set of database files. Version fixes some user interface issues, adds better detection of DTS streams downloaded from torrents. Also the DVD copy engine was fixed to fix issues with ‘Ender’s Game’, ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ and other movies.

In total 10 database files have been added for the following movies, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, The Past, The Social Network, Resident Evil: Retribution, Battle: Los Angeles, Priest, The Hungover Games, Wadja, Columbiana and Green Hornet. The database files can be used to remove the Cinavia Blu-ray copy protection from these movies, so they can be played back on both hardware and software Blu-ray players.
