DVD-Ranger informed us today about the release of seven database files for their CinEx Cinavia removal module. The databases can be used to remove the Cinavia copy-protection from Blu-ray movies. According to DVD-Ranger the databases contain a first pass of the Cinavia removal process, decreasing the processing time for end users.
This time they've added the following databases:
- Larry Crowne , US, English track only
- Straw Dogs , US, English track only
- Restless , US, English track only
- Seven Psychopaths , US, English track only
- Parker , US, English track only
- Evil Dead , US, English track only
- Bad Country , US, English track only
To try out the software, the developers also made the database of 'The Social Network' available for everyone.
DVD-Ranger combined with the CinEx HD module is currently the only software able to actually remove the Cinavia audio-watermark from Blu-ray movies. This means that Blu-ray discs copied with the software can be played on any Blu-ray player. More information and downloads can be found here.
