FBI seizes pirate domains

An announcement by the US Department of Justice has reveals that the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has seized certain web domains associated with the distribution of pirated Android apps.

The sites in question are applanet.net, appbucket.net and snappzmarket.com which according to the Department of Justice's statement are now in the custody of the federal government.

Visitors to the websites are now greeted with the following screen warning that the domain has been seized and advising of the penalties associated with copyright infringement.
