Data management giant Informatica unveils a new cloud governing solutions to address the needs of customers who are looking into the Snowflake Data Cloud.
A new set of capabilities is added to the data solution, linked to Snowflake’s core workloads. This includes all crucial elements including data engineering, data warehouse, lakes, science, applications, and data sharing.
The company’s leading artificial intelligence solutions are backed up by metadata-driven support. They’ve combined the enterprise-scale cloud data management, in addition to Snowflake’s data assets and governing capabilities.
Informatica’s new solution also includes data integration tools to create new opportunities for system integration, analytics, and digital transformation. It’s also offering new data cataloging and governance, so customers can integrate and organize data in Snowflake’s cloud.
Moreover, the company is also expanding its offers to data staging, integration, and capabilities for the Snowflake system, part of the Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). This lets customers integrate data to partners and increase service opportunities to work with other service providers.
Enterprises can also get help to manage big data initiatives and projects, allowing seamless transition and data management.
“Data governance is really front and center. This is one of the big themes we’ve seen gain tremendous momentum in 2020. And looking at 2021, it will be a dominant trend in the demand for trusted data,” said Informatica vice president Rik Tamm-Daniels.
As data is considered the soul and ‘lifeblood’ of digital transformation, Informatica is paving the way to speed up the process of data integration. Moreover, it’s also looking at transforming all aspects of the business with trusted insights from its database and Snowflake as well.
Any company can accelerate the adoption of Snowflake data cloud by cataloging the existing data assets to identify relevant data and track down information moved from Snowflake.
It’s also important to create critical transparency in the trusted data, ensure accuracy in the analytics and AI initiatives, and manage or protect data assets with enterprise data policies.
In addition, the Enterprise Integration Platform also allows users to find and stage data for analytics purposes. This means customers can load data at scale, provide a unique experience, and harness power to transform data.
“Together with Snowflake, we are accelerating our clients’ move to the cloud, which is vital to our customers’ success in their digital transformation efforts,” said Tamm-Daniels.
Informatica also unveils a number of capabilities to aid with data integration with Snowflake, including nonserver data integration, data asset analysis, and customer 360-degree portal.
