MegaUpload and Mega founder Kim Dotcom has announced on Twitter that he's working on a new free cloud storage service that will offer 100GB of storage for free. His Tweet also mentions that the service will do encryption on the fly and allows synchronisation of all devices. Another interesting feature of the new service is that there will be no transfer limits.
A new site is in the making:

Dotcom was formerly involved in Mega.co.nz, the successor of MegaUpload that offers 50GB cloud storage for free. He left this company and in a recent article in which he criticized his former company he announced that he would start the new cloud storage service. The new service should start in January 2017.
Besides spending time on founding a company, Dotcom is also still in a legal battle. He's still fighting his extradition to the United States from New Zealand, where he currently lives. The entertainment industry in the United States wants to get his hands on him because according to them MegaUpload infringed on copyrights on a large scale.
