Klipsch Rolls Out True Wireless ANC Earphones with AI

American electronics company Klipsch Audio Technologies recently released the T5 II True Wireless ANC Earphones, its latest contender in the growing true wireless stereo (TWS) scene. The new offering will feature artificially intelligent controls, reported Gizmodo.

The in-earn monitor-style T5 II TWS with active noise cancellation (ANC) was announced during the CES 2021 in January. It was touted to have dual-microphone noise cancellation for clear voice input, combined with Clear Voice Chat (CVC) with six beamforming microphones for calls.

These new TWS earphones are equipped with 5.8mm dynamic drivers with a high-resolution diaphragm. These drivers are slightly bigger than the previous version, T5 II True Wireless Earphones, which are 5mm in size. The larger speakers are expected to provide a richer and more defined sound.

It is also equipped with Dirac HD Sound, making it the world’s very first TWS to partner with Dirac for audio performance enhancement. With the help of this technology, the unit is expected to provide better sound stage and clarity, while also improving its low-, mid-, and high-range frequency presentation.

The ANC-enabled product also offers seven hours of use per single full charge without ANC and five hours per single full charge with ANC. The charging case has a total of 21 hours of juice without ANC and 15 hours with ANC.

The non-ANC model offers eight hours of use with 24 hours of power in the charging case, but it only has four beamforming mics for CVC. Both models are equipped with Bluetooth 5.

One of the strongest suits of this new offering is its built-in Bragi operating system, which utilizes artificial intelligence.

The Bragi OS makes the ANC pair a part of the expanding Klipsch ecosystem that allows users to manage their devices using one application. The application also enables Bragi Moves, which provides head movement controls, such as picking up calls by nodding their heads or rejecting them by shaking.

The product comes with six pairs of color-coded Oval Comfort Fit Ear Tips that are designed to provide isolation and security when worn.

Aside from the T5 II True Wireless ANC Earphones, Klipsch also announced other offerings such as the T5 II True Wireless ANC Earphones McLaren Edition, as well as the HP-1 ANC Over-Ear Headphones and its McLaren Edition.

The new T5 II TWS with ANC is priced at $300, while the McLaren Edition is priced at $349.
