There is a growing shift towards storage-based media centers, as more consumers begin to purchase HDTVs that they want to connect to digital and online content.  Furthermore, the amount of content, ranging from movies and music to pictures and home videos, has created a need for an all-in-one type of device that is able to connect directly to an HDTV.
